The quiet requirement on millions of transcripts.

The College English Test Band 4 – CET-4, 大学英语四级 – is held twice a year for millions of Chinese undergraduates, and at many universities has long been tied to degree requirements and job applications; Band 6 (六级) follows for those who need to show more. The format is familiar and unforgiving: listening, reading, translation and writing, all in one sitting. For most candidates the wall is the same two things: the vocabulary load and the listening speed – both of which punish cramming and reward structure.

Vocabulary is a map, not a dictionary

Word lists are alphabetical; the exam is topical – campus life, technology, culture, economy. A map organizes the CET vocabulary into the families it actually tests, links words to the listening and translation contexts they appear in, and tracks with colors which families you own. Listening improves the same way: map the recurring scenarios, quiz until recognition beats translation, and the audio stops sounding fast.

The a-b-c-d for CET candidates

a) Upload your 真题 summaries, vocabulary notes and class materials to Brain – mapped on your device in minutes.
b) Quiz per topic family and per section; honest grading, daily.
c) Red nodes are your score leaks – usually the listening scenarios and the translation's formal register.
d) Loop until the map runs green, sit Band 4, and reuse the whole system for Band 6.

Quick answers

Can it help with 听力 specifically?
Indirectly but powerfully – the map drills the scenarios and vocabulary listening tests recycle, so recognition arrives before the audio finishes. Practice with real audio still matters; the map makes it count.

Where do my 真题 notes go?
Processed on your own device, never uploaded – your materials stay on your hardware, exactly as before.
